Named With Love, is a portrait series that reflects the love Asia Irving, CEO and Designer, carries for a few of the family members and close friends she’s named Aseye’s designs after. More than anything, it’s a campaign about people. A quiet ode to our ancestors, family, and sisterhood. A reminder of the love that surrounds us and of what’s possible when women move with intention, power, and belief in themselves.
Featuring: the Liz Varsity Jacket named after Asia’s late angel mother Liz, Jolie Drape Top named after her younger sister London Jolie, Tynia Track Cardigan named after her younger cousin Tynia, Felisa Knit Top and Skirt named after her auntie Felisa, the Asha Pleated Skirt named after her close friend and Production Manager Asha, and the Kaya Tank Top named after her close friend and Lead Digital Marketing Director Kaya.

The Liz Varsity Jacket is named after Asia's mother Liz (short for Elizabeth).

Asia’s mother is her first and greatest source of inspiration. The design was born from Liz’s love of sports, and the life she lived, characterized by strength and intention. She played volleyball and basketball in her youth and college years, and that athletic spirit continues to live on through her children. Even though she's no longer here physically, her presence has guided Asia since she was a little girl. Naming Aseye’s first official design after her mother felt like the only option because Asia wouldn’t be here without her… literally. She is forever a part of Asia’s story and thus both her parents’ influences are deeply woven into the DNA of Aseye.

The Tynia Track Cardigan is named after Asia's cousin Tynia.
Since Tynia was one of Asia’s best friends growing up, the design is rooted in childhood memories. Most specifically when Tynia moved to Miami, she exposed Asia to the ways in which sports and cheerleading felt like their own world. It was a culture and energy Asia hadn’t experienced in the same way back home and seeing her cousins flourish in this new environment left a lasting impression on her. The design reflects how Tynia always made things her own, with distinct elements that signal individuality. Tynia is warm and sweet yet bold and confident. That balance is embodied in the details of this piece.

The design is a reflection of this defining moment in London’s life and the sense of pride Asia has for the woman she’s becoming. Since London will be graduating high school soon, Asia reinterpreted classic varsity spirit with an edge. A nod to tradition, but designed for someone who naturally stands apart. The top carries a fun and whimsy energy, balanced with a quiet grace and timelessness that feels true to London’s character. This is the kind of individuality that can’t be replicated.

This design was inspired by Kaya’s love for tennis and the honesty and warmth she brings into every space she's in. Asia imagined her in it, on the court or at the US Open, embodying that effortless balance of sporty and chic. There's a sense of transparency in this design, mirrored in the way she moves through life. Asia noticed that her conversations with Kaya are always open and explorative—grounded in a kind of vulnerability that never feels judgemental. To know her is truly to love her.
